The National Hydrological Monitoring Programme (NHMP) is undertaken jointly by the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology and the British Geological Survey. The Programme aims to provide an authoritative voice on hydrological conditions throughout the UK.
Press and Media enquiries should be directed to the CEH Press Office.
The National Hydrological Monitoring Programme (NHMP) conducts a wide range of analyses to exploit the data holdings of the archive, and has a particular obligation to document contemporary hydrological conditions and to identify and interpret long-term hydrological change and variability. NHMP publications are:
- Hydrological Summary for the UK (monthly reports)
- UK Hydrological Bullentins (quaterly reports from 2011)
- Hydrological Review of the Year (annual reports, 1981 - 2010)
- Analyses and assessments of hydrological events (occasional reports)
National River Flow Archive (NRFA) publications can be found here.
