The new NRFA peak flow data service replaces HiFlows-UK. In April 2014, working with the EA, SEPA, NRW and the Rivers Agency, responsibility for the provision of UK national flood peak data was transferred from the former HiFlows-UK initiative hosted on the Environment Agency’s website to the NRFA. The dataPeak Flow - Winter 2014 Flooding harmonisation has been completed for key metadata, including: station numbers, river names, station names, geographical locations and station types. Harmonisation of station descriptions and other core information will take place in 2014/2015. The NRFA peak flow data service is fully integrated into the existing NRFA website, allowing users to easily search, view and download data.
